Auger just completed shooting the highly anticipated sequel FUBAR 2 scheduled for release in the fall of 2010.
 
Auger is in the Opening/Closing ceremonies for the upcoming Arctic Winter Games in March 2010 as Anook - The Rockman for "The Heroes Journey."
 
Auger has another film being released in 2010 entitled Western Confidential where he plays a Native Guide/Interpreter, a turn of the century film.  
 
Auger has another film scheduled for release in 2010 entitled Alone where he plays a native cop, a coming of age film.
 
Auger is currently working on the sequel to his latest film entitled "Honor Thy Father- Our Journey Home” where it deals with Christianity and Native Spirituality in Indian country.      
 
Auger latest film Honor Thy Father as a writer/director premiered on CBC/APTN/Sask TV in the summer of 2009 and won Best Film Representing Cultural Diversity at the Alberta Motion Picture Industry Awards.
 
Auger has a supporting lead in the first episode for the six-part mini-series Into The West for Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks that premiered on TNT (Turner Broadcasting)
 
Auger plays Crow Hunter in an episode of the four-part Hallmark Entertainment TV mini-series Dreamkeeper, which aired on ABC in the USA and CTV in Canada.
 
Auger has a supporting role in a 1998 movie, My West, which was filmed in Italy for Pacific Pictures and starred David Bowie and Harvey Keitel.
 
Auger plays Chief Ambrose Maquinna in “Luna: The Way Home” with Adam Beach, Graham Greene, Tantoo Cardinal and Jason Priestly of Beverley Hills 90210.
 
Auger has a lead role in the IMAX production Lewis and Clark – The Journey West, produced by National Geographic and distributed by Destination Films worldwide.
 
Auger completed the film Klatsassin with world famous artist Stan Douglas that premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival for North America and in Vienna, Austria for Europe.
 
Auger had his film as a writer/director, Walking Alone, produced by The National Film Board of Canada that was broadcast on CBC and APTN.  
 
Featured in major commercials for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals out of Los Angeles and a Korean car commercial for Magnus that was broadcast to an audience of more than 50 million people in South Korea.
 
Auger was awarded the National Native Role Model Award by the Governor General of Canada in 1996/97.
Gerald was also the first Aboriginal recipient of the Rotary International Integrity Award in 1999 for the Avenue of Nations in Alberta.
 
Auger is the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Black Eagle Entertainment. A business to advance Aboriginal status in mainstream society and designed to debunk cultural stereotypes of his people.
 
Auger has an educational background in Business Administration - Marketing/Management and Small Business Management.
